Objective:

The objective of the Developmental Core is to promote new and innovative research and to stimulate both new and established investigators of diverse backgrounds to address issues relevant to NeuroAIDS.

Services:

The operation of the core will make available funds and resource support (provided by the Research Cores, see links) in a timely manner in order to facilitate and enhance the submission of future competitive proposals to the NIH. Developmental grants will permit Investigators to gather preliminary data and demonstrate proof of concept, thereby strengthening future proposals and new directions in research.

Developmental grant applications (generally 2 years, $25,000 direct/year) will be available in June.
